Pakistan to come india for World Cup 2023

The Pakistan government cleared the country’s senior men’s squad to travel to India for the 2023 World Cup on Sunday, but said it had certain worries about the team’s security and will communicate them to the ICC and BCCI.

The 50-over World Cup will be staged in India from October 5 to November 19, with the highly anticipated match between the two arch rivals slated to take place on October 14 rather than October 15 in Ahmedabad, according to the International Cricket Council (ICC), which has yet to officially announce it.

According to a foreign ministry news statement, Pakistan has repeatedly focused that sports and politics should not be intertwined. As a result, it has chosen to send a squad to India to compete in the 2018 World Cup.

“Pakistan believes that the current state of bilateral relations with India should not prevent it from fulfilling its international sports-related obligations,” the notification said.

The ministry stated that Pakistan has serious worries regarding the safety of its squad and that it will communicate these issues to the International Cricket Council (ICC) and Indian authorities.

The Asia Cup, a forerunner to the 50-over World Cup for Asian countries, will begin on August 30 in Pakistan with four matches, with Sri Lanka hosting the remaining nine, including the final.

The PCB had written to Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif a few days ago, requesting official permission to travel to India for the 50-over showcase. The letter was also sent to the interior and foreign ministries.
Sharif had appointed a high-level committee, led by foreign minister Bilawal Bhutto, to decide if Pakistan will participate in the mega-event.
However, there were rumours of a security mission being dispatched to India, to the grounds where Pakistan will play, prior to the sanction.
The Pakistan team last visited India in 2016 for the ICC World Twenty20.
