Pari Chaudhary founded Bunaai. Pari worked as a social media influencer for many brands while finishing her education in Delhi. She preferred the creative aspect of things even then. As a result, when she returned to her birthplace of Jaipur in 2016, she made the decision to launch her own business and incorporate the history of craft, art, and fashion of the area.
In order to start her business, chaudhary invested INR 50k of her own money in bunaai.

She started off focusing in handcrafted gowns, but has since broadened the scope of her product line to include kurta and suit sets, lehengas, co-ords, jewelry, footwear, home decor, and handmade accessories.
Bunaai features a variety of ethnic fashion, including bandhej, chikankari, and other styles. Each piece incorporates traditional designs using methods like hand printing, hand dying, and hand block printing, giving it the unmistakable touch of Rajasthani craftsmanship.
The average price for traditional and Indo-Western sets is around INR 2k, and some can cost up to INR 12–14k.
Currently, Bunaai employs 300+ people, including the craftspeople, and offers more than 800 SKUs. Bunaai alone served more than 90,000 clients in India in 2022.
The startup’s revenue was 34 crore rupees, according to inc42. The brands established two physical locations in Indore and Jaipur that same year.
